IV: Mikey colortest

I admit it; I wrote a TMNT screenplay last month. "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles IV: Turtle Transformation!" (God, that's a stupid title. XD) Didn't finish, but oh well. I'll get to it.

If the design looks familiar, it should; Peter Laird drew the original design (and Kevin Eastman inked it; I'm not sure about the designing process). It was gonna be used in the fourth live-action movie, which was never made... so I borrowed the basic plot and character designs for the screenplay I mentioned earlier. According to Laird: "The general idea was that the mutagen was continuing to change the turtles and Splinter, giving them new abilities -- and new problems."

I was gonna wait to submit this until after I'd drawn the others, but... Mikey's design is just too fun. It brings out my inner ghetto. X3 His mutation lets him look human, which leads to all kinds of fun and trouble. The first color set was whatever I thought went well together, the second was trying to use his "base color" (orange) more, and the third was just impulse, really. I think I like the third one best.
